    DIRECTIONS
    1. Boil green beans in a large pot of salted water until crisp-tender, about 5–7 minutes. Drain and transfer to ice water. Drain again and pat dry.
    2. Add olive oil to a skillet over medium heat. Add almonds and salt, stirring to coat. Cook until almonds are fragrant and lightly browned, about 3 minutes.
    3. Add green beans and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to coat.
    4. Cook until warmed through.
    5. Transfer to a platter and garnish with lemon zest, if desired.
