This Superfood Protein Dessert Hummus is a delectable and nutritious twist on the traditional mediterranean dip, blending the creamy texture of chickpeas with sweet flavors like cacao, vanilla and maple syrup. Satisfy cravings with a healthy dose of protein and fiber!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 scoop Epic Protein Chocolate Maca
  • Splash of almond milk (to help blend as needed)
  • Crushed peanuts
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor, until completely smooth.
    2. Add a dash of almond milk to help blend if needed.
    3. Spoon hummus into a serving bowl.
    4. Top with crushed peanuts.
    5. Serve alongside fruit, pretzels, graham crackers and more.
    6. Enjoy!
