Superfood Protein Dessert Hummus
This Superfood Protein Dessert Hummus is a delectable and nutritious twist on the traditional mediterranean dip, blending the creamy texture of chickpeas with sweet flavors like cacao, vanilla and maple syrup. Satisfy cravings with a healthy dose of protein and fiber!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can chickpeas, drained & rinsed
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 scoop Epic Protein Chocolate Maca
- Splash of almond milk (to help blend as needed)
- Crushed peanuts
DIRECTIONS
- Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor, until completely smooth.
- Add a dash of almond milk to help blend if needed.
- Spoon hummus into a serving bowl.
- Top with crushed peanuts.
- Serve alongside fruit, pretzels, graham crackers and more.
