Strawberry Matcha Protein Pops
Made with real strawberries, real Japanese matcha powder and Epic Protein, these popsicles are a refreshing treat for your taste buds. Packed with antioxidants and vitamins, they're not only delicious but also a guilt-free indulgence. Beat the heat and nourish yourself!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 tbsp Epic Protein Mindful Matcha
- 2 2/3 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 1/3 cup + 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 8-10 strawberries
DIRECTIONS
- Whisk the matcha powder in a small bowl with hot water until all clumps are disolved.
- Add the matcha mixture to a blender with maple syrup, Epic Protein Mindful Matcha, and 2 cups of coconut milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Add strawberries, 2/3 cup coconut milk and 1 tbsp of maple syrup to a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour this mixture into a jar and refrigerate.
- Fill up each popsicle cavity about ¾ of the way full.
- Place the cover over the popsicle molds and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the freezer and insert the popsicle sticks. Freeze for 4-6 hours.
- Once frozen, remove the popsicles from the freezer.
- Remove the lid, and pour the strawberry layer over the frozen matcha layer, filling the cavity.
- Place it back in the freezer for another 2-4 hours.
- Run the popsicle mold under hot water to soften the popsicles before removing each popsicle by gently tugging on the stick until it slides out of the mold.
