What is Acerola?

Commonly called the West Indies cherry or Barbados cherry, Acerola is a fruit that produces cherry-like berries. These berries have been used for centuries in modern and folk medicine. Traditionally, they’ve been used to treat liver issues, diarrhea, colds and coughs.
