Shamrock Shake Protein Bites
Inspired by Lindsay Cotter of @cottercrunch, these Shamrock Shake Protein Bites are packed with nutrients. Matcha is the star of this recipe and offers a myriad of health benefits, including high concentrations of antioxidants called catechins, which promote overall well-being, enhance mental focus, boost metabolism, and provide a sustained energy release without the jittery effects associated with traditional caffeinated beverages.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup coconut or almond flour
- 1/2 cup banana chips
- 1/4 cup Epic Protein Mindful Matcha + 1 scoop to coat
- 1/2 cup nut butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp mint or spearmint extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 tbsp matcha powder to coat
DIRECTIONS
- Add banana chips to food processor or blender and pulse until they reach a powder-like consistency.
- Add banana chips, flour and Epic Protein to a large bowl and mix.
- Add nut butter, vanilla extract, mint extract and honey and mix again.
- Roll mixture into 25-30 small bite-size balls.
- Freeze for 15 minutes.
- Combine matcha powder and 1 scoop of Epic Protein in a small bowl.
- Coat the bites in the dry matcha mixture.
- Enjoy and store in refrigerator!
