This Blueberry Banana Walnut Smoothie is as tasty as it is stunning. Made with frozen fruit, oats, nuts and Simple Pea Vanilla Protein, each layer delivers plant-powered nutrition with a creamy, milkshake-like texture. Alternate between banana-walnut and blueberry blends for a naturally sweet, fiber-rich breakfast or snack that’s packed with protein and totally meal-prep friendly. BANANA WALNUT LAYER INGREDIENTS

  • 2 frozen bananas
  • ⅓ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon Simple Pea Vanilla Protein
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice

    BLUEBERRY LAYER INGREDIENTS

    • 1 frozen banana
    • 1 cup frozen blueberries
    • ⅓ cup rolled oats
    • 2 tablespoons walnuts
    • 1 tablespoon Simple Pea Vanilla Protein
    • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 cup almond milk or milk of choice
      DIRECTIONS
      1. Blend banana layer ingredients until smooth. 
      2. Pour about ½ cup of the smoothie into the bottom of two serving glasses and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes.
      3. Blend blueberry layer ingredients until smooth. 
      4. Remove the glasses from the freezer and pour about ½ cup of the blueberry smoothie over the banana layer.
      5. Place the glasses back in the freezer to chill for 15 minutes.
      6. Continue repeating these steps until you top off the smoothie with the last blueberry layer.
      7. Enjoy!
