High Protein Dubai Chocolate Bites
Indulgence meets nourishment in these rich, Middle Eastern–inspired bites. Melted dark chocolate and our Epic Protein Chocolate Maca create a decadent base, while coconut oil, vanilla and ghee bring creamy depth. Crisp kaitaifi adds a unique crunch, layered with pistachio cream, chia seeds and a sprinkle of fragrant cardamom. Finished with crushed pistachios and golden sautéed kaitaifi, each bite is equal parts exotic and protein-packed.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 scoop Epic Protein Chocolate Maca
- 1-2 tbsp coconut oil
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp ghee or butter
- 1 cup kaitaifi
- ⅓ cup pistachio cream
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
- Pinch of cardamom powder
- Toppings: extra sautéed kaitifi, crushed pistachios
DIRECTIONS
- Sauté kaitifi in a skillet with ghee or butter for about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to continuously stir to prevent burning.
- Add sautéed kaitifi to a bowl, reserving about 2 tbsp for topping.
- To the bowl, add pistachio cream, chia seeds, pistachios, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.
- Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop out the mixture and gently round out the edges.
- Place each ball on a plate and freeze for 35 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate chips in 1 tbsp of coconut oil. Then add Epic Protein and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- If the chocolate is too thick, add another tablespoon of oil.
- Remove kaitifi balls from the freezer and toss them in melted chocolate with a spoon.
- Place them back on the plate with parchment paper and top with extra sautéed kaitifi and crushed pistachios.
- Freeze for 10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
- Store in the refrigerator and enjoy!
