High-Protein 6-Ingredient Reeses Bites
Chocolate and peanut butter, but make it functional. These High-Protein Reese’s Bites start with a rich dark chocolate shell, filled with a creamy peanut butter center blended with Epic Protein Vanilla Lucuma for a subtle caramel-like sweetness and plant-based protein boost. The result is smooth, decadent and surprisingly balanced — no chalky texture, no artificial aftertaste. Finished with a drizzle of chocolate, a pinch of flaky sea salt and an optional dusting of beet powder for a naturally vibrant touch, they’re indulgent enough for dessert but smart enough for everyday snacking. Keep them in the fridge for a grab-and-go treat that satisfies your sweet tooth and actually fuels you back.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 ⅓ cups dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- ⅓ cup peanut butter
- 1 scoop Epic Protein Vanilla Lucuma
- Beet powder, for dusting (optional)
- Flaky sea salt
DIRECTIONS
- Add the chocolate chips to a small bowl with the coconut oil. Heat this in the microwave 30 seconds at a time until the chocolate melts.
- Add about ½ a tablespoon of the chocolate to the bottom of a silicone, heart-shaped tray. Make sure to spread the chocolate on the sides up to the top edge of the heart.
- Place in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, make the peanut butter center by combining the peanut butter with the Epic Protein. Mix with a spatula until well combined.
- Remove the tray from the freezer and add about ½ a tablespoon of peanut butter to each chocolate layer.
- Top the peanut butter layer with another layer of melted chocolate, fully covering it. Place in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- Pop the chocolates out of the tray and decorate with a drizzle of melted chocolate, a dust of beetroot powder and flaky sea salt.
- Store in the fridge and enjoy!
