Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars
These Chocolate Pistachio Protein Bars are rich, nutty and just sweet enough to feel like a treat. Each bite is soft, chocolatey and packed with real ingredients that keep you energized and satisfied. Dessert-level delicious, snack-time smart.
INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup Epic Protein Vanilla Lucuma
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup pistachio butter
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk of choice
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 4 oz dark chocolate melted
DIRECTIONS
- Mix 1/3 cup pistachio butter, milk and maple syrup in a large bowl, then fold in the protein powder and cocoa to form a dough.
- Press into a 9 x 5-inch loaf tin lined with parchment paper.
- Mix remaining 1/3 cup of pistachio butter and maple syrup in a separate bowl, then spread over the top.
- Freeze for 45 minutes (until hardened), then slice into bars.
- Melt the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl, then either drizzle the chocolate on top of each bar or dunk the bars into the chocolate to coat.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and refrigerate until the chocolate has set.
