Acorn Shaped Protein Bites
We love a festive treat that's still both delicious and healthy. Bring these Acorn Shaped Protein Bites to your next fall/winter party - they're sure to be a crowd-pleaser!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup cashew butter
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 scoops Epic Protein Chocolate Maca
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/8 chocolate chips
- Toasted coconuts
- Pumpkin Seeds
DIRECTIONS
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together 1/2 cup cashew butter, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, Epic Protein, cocoa powder and salt.
- Mold into acorn shapes.
- In a separate bowl melt together 1/8 cup cashew butter and chocolate chips in the microwave in 10 second intervals.
- Once melted, dip the top of the acorns in the melted chocolate mixture and immediately coat with toasted coconuts.
- Add a pumpkin seed for a "stem".
- Let set and enjoy!
