We love a festive treat that's still both delicious and healthy. Bring these Acorn Shaped Protein Bites to your next fall/winter party - they're sure to be a crowd-pleaser! 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup + 1/8 cup cashew butter
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 scoops Epic Protein Chocolate Maca
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/8 chocolate chips
  • Toasted coconuts
  • Pumpkin Seeds
    DIRECTIONS
    1. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together 1/2 cup cashew butter, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, Epic Protein, cocoa powder and salt.
    2. Mold into acorn shapes.
    3. In a separate bowl melt together 1/8 cup cashew butter and chocolate chips in the microwave in 10 second intervals.
    4. Once melted, dip the top of the acorns in the melted chocolate mixture and immediately coat with toasted coconuts.
    5. Add a pumpkin seed for a "stem".
    6.  Let set and enjoy!
