This March Madness Snack Plate features rich Chocolate Maca Protein Bites made with Epic Protein Chocolate Maca, blended with medjool dates, almond butter, cocoa and maple syrup for a naturally sweet, chocolatey bite packed with plant protein. Rolled and arranged to mimic the lines of a basketball, the protein bites create the centerpiece of a snack board filled with crunchy sweet potato chips, juicy tangerine slices, cheese crackers, and a few nostalgic treats for balance. It’s the perfect mix of better-for-you fuel and classic game day snacking—easy to assemble, fun to share, and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser from tip-off to the final buzzer.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups medjool dates, pitted⁣
  • 1/2 cup oat flour⁣
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder⁣
  • 1/2 cup Epic Protein Chocolate Maca
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup⁣
  • 1/2 cup almond butter⁣
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract⁣
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt⁣
  • Other Snacks: Cheese Balls, Sweet Potato Chips, Tangerine Slices, Cheese Crackers, Peach Rings, etc.  
    DIRECTIONS
    1. Add all of the Chocolate Protein Bites ingredients to a food processor and blend until a dough-like consistency forms. If the dough is too dry, add a splash of water or extra almond butter.
    2. Roll the dough into small balls and arrange them on a large plate in the shape of the lines on a basketball.
    3. In the open sections, add the other snacks to add pops of orange color.
    4. Enjoy!
    5. Store the Chocolate Protein Bites in an air-tight container in the fridge.
