Carob Coconut Bliss Balls
These deliciously sweet and nutritious Carob Coconut Bliss Balls are made by combining fresh dates with a mixture of superfood powders including lucuma, carob and maca with a touch of salt and coconut oil. Enjoy!
- 15 dates
- 1 tbsp. lucuma powder
- 3 tbsp. carob powder
- 1 tbsp. maca powder
- 1 tbsp. hemp
- a pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp. coconut oil
- Begin by removing the seeds from the dates.
- Place the all of the ingredients in a blender/food processor and blend until the ingredients thoroughly mix and form a large ball inside.
- Test for moisture. If too dry, add more dates or coconut oil; if too moist, add more carob or lucuma powder.
- Form the mixture into slightly smaller than golf ball-size balls and place them into the fridge (or into the freezer if you want them cold quickly).
ABOUT THE CHEF
Lisa is a 300 hr Certified Radiantly Alive Yoga Teacher. She was born and brought up in southern Sweden, and for the last decade has travelled together with her boyfriend Nazareno, with whom she shares the love for yoga. Another great passion is Raw Foods, which after an in inspirations workshop 3 years ago, has become a great part of her life. Lisa finds that combining raw foods and yoga is the richest, most healthy way of living – making you feel high on life, inspired by and in touch with nature and your body.
